When looking this evening at my digital calendar for tomorrow, I have come upon a mystery: my calendar informs me that I have VOLLEYBALL tomorrow, from 7-9 pm.
No location.
No details.
No invite from another.
No event I haphazardly marked myself as “interested” or “going” on Facebook.
Just Volleyball, from 7-9 p.m. No other details.
Thing is: I don’t play volleyball. Other than some mandatory classes in high school Phys Ed, I’ve never played volleyball. I’m not particularly interested in volleyball. (No personal affront meant to anyone who is.) I wasn’t discussing volleyball recently with anyone. No one, to my knowledge, invited me to any event wherein I might play or watch volleyball. And I don’t think I added this event to my calendar via Siri.
Nope, none of that. Just “Volleyball, 7- 9 p.m.”
Mystery. Not a big one needing solving. Just a “huh?” thing I noticed.
