Where’s the beef?

Over the years, I’ve learned to translate Trump. Here’s my take on his beef-me-fix social media post attached here:

“A nasty monopoly”
Translated: “The four packing monopolies haven’t paid me, my children or my political campaign grift-machine the money I demanded of them. Nor have they contributed sufficiently to my ballroom, arch, Mt Rushmore gold-paint makeover or whatever else I want in the moment.”

“I’m authorizing legal documents … “
Translated: “IDGAF about the three branches of government, I get to create legislation. No questions asked.”

“Ranchers and Farmers have always been a number one priority for me.”
Translated: “Oh, I thought I had them as Eternal MAGA Trump fans, and many of them are ticked off now and mouthing off about it. I’ll appease them with this baseless PR stunt.”

“Ranchers can process their own food … this should move quickly.”
Translated: “I have no understanding of the nuance of operations, the equipment and facilities required — even for small ranchers. I have no concept of small business development and the skills, time and capacity to switch from raising cattle to selling cattle. I have no concept or understanding of the cattle industry, how different ranchers are set up for different phases of beef production.”

“Thank you for your attention to this matter.”
Translated: “I am God. Kneel before me.”
