The Silent generation (b 1925-1942 in the US) is dying out. They are the ARTIST archetype, the generational archetype which produces the greatest singers and songwriters, poets and playwrights, comedians and choreographers and more, more, more of its time and age.
The Artist archetype also produces the greatest civil rights leaders, due process-oriented folks and administrators (though rarely national leaders).
Today’s kids born 2006 to about 2028 are that same archetype.
Look, look, look to NOW — the time of this generation’s childhood — to see the seeds of what they will become!
As this generation (unnamed and unacknowledged now, as is normal for “recessive” generations such as Xers and Silents), comes of age, moves into young adulthood, then midlife, we will see a resurgence of —

They are the great artists who will bring nuance and depth of feeling to a “Build Big and New” world (starting in the mid-2030s or so).
They are the tinkerers and technicians who will bring expertise to Millennials (often unreflective and mechanistic) juggernaut approach to rebuilding the outer and civic world.
The are the credentialed experts in a world that values such and pushes aside those with panache and swagger, the celebrities who rose on contention over facts, and the leadership roles filled by the incompetent.
Generations are cycles, and holy smokes, can we ever see the origins of how this not-yet-named generation is being formed now.
