A more sharing world

Oh, you young ‘uns have no idea of the mess young GenXers encountered in the world — and work world, particularly in the lack of shared knowledge and information management they encountered as the young adults of the nation and business world.

One of the things GenXers (currently 43-63 years old) tend to have in spades is the ability to get an eff-tonne of stuff done with the most limited of resources in the most recalcitrant and unmoving environs. (And bosses who didn’t value –and often didn’t actually want — transparency.)

And to leave things much, much better than they found them.

Document management, knowledge sharing, transparency … these are all areas where *the needle has moved* drastically in Xer hands. Can it be better? Always. Is the world infinitely more organized, clarified and documented now compared to 30-35-40 years ago when young Xers started entering the workforce? Absolutely!
