Coinky-dink?

I’ve been watching “Young Sheldon” and as with many shows, the same ads are shown again and again. And again. It’s a thing. They inundate you with the same ads, endlessly.

So imagine my surprise when after watching this show and the Max channel for the past month or so and being rather attenuated to the same national-brand ads when I suddenly heard an ad for Maggiano’s Little Italy.

I mean, on one hand, whatever, no big deal, right?

… EXCEPT, except, except, except …

EXCEPT less than 24 hours earlier I’d texted a friend, reminding her that I had a Maggiano’s gift certificate from a year or so earlier we could use.

Maybe it’s just a coincidence.
Maybe it’s too much coincidence.
Maybe it’s more.
Maybe it’s not.
