Some time ago, I was the theme-camp organizer for a camp at Burning Man called More Carrot, Black Rock City’s Farmers Market. Our gift was an early-morning farmers market of sorts where we offered plenty of fresh fruit and veggies for dusty folks to enjoy.
A friend of mine (one of those rather artistic burners, of which there are many) had made this super-fun Carmen Miranda-style hat for herself and was ready, after having it a few years, to pass it along.
I was the recipient … until it was time for me to pass it along, too.
