My short stint as a newspaper writer

There was a brief period in my life when I wrote regular articles for a newspaper. (Note, I did not say I was a newspaper reporter; rather, a newspaper writer.)

I got paid some ridiculously paltry amount of money. I mean REE-dick-you-less-ly low amount of money; I think it was $10/article. Maybe $20, though I’m pretty sure it was ten. Anyway … like so many publications that somehow wish to luxuriate in the riches of advertising revenue but develop hives and itchy rashes when it comes to paying writers, this group was among the brazen. $10 an article!

But, eh, I used the opportunity to write about what I wanted to write about, which at that time, looked like this. Here are some of my articles.
