Truly, I was never into paper maps. Local, national, global — didn’t matter, not my thing.
Couldn’t read ’em.
Couldn’t follow ’em.
Couldn’t understand ’em.
But these rendered versions? This dimensional stuff? Fascinates me endlessly!
I think it’s easy (well, it has been for me) to just be like, “Oh, I’m an American. We live on this piece of land. We have history. We had wars. We had this and that happen.”
But to lay that history over land? OMGoodness. Just fascinates me.
