Doin’ our part

For those concerned and/or interested, you can count the Columbia Newburns in for having killed at least 50 adult spotted lantern flies — a prolific breeder and invasive-as-heck bug — in the last 72 hours. And we’re only just beginning!

As we have a grape vine, and spotted lantern flies in the nymph stage just love chomping on grape leaves, we killed a lot of juveniles in prior months too!
